Welcome to Gorgorus (“the Service”), operated by Bitprods SRL BV, company number BE0633.830.464 (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using our website at gorgorus.com and any related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
2. Description of Service
Gorgorus is a subscription-based research publication. We provide written analysis and commentary on energy, industry, markets, technology, public policy, companies, capital, and related real-world consequences. Our content is intended for informational and educational purposes only.
3. Not Financial Advice
The content published on Gorgorus does not constitute financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other form of professional advice. You should not treat any of our content as such. We do not recommend that any financial instrument should be bought, sold, or held by you. Nothing on Gorgorus should be construed as an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to buy or sell any security or investment product. Always do your own research and consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.
4. Accounts and Subscriptions
Some features of the Service require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
Subscriber emails are part of the Service. You can unsubscribe from editorial emails, pause them, or update email engagement tracking preferences from your account or the preference link in our emails. Paid account, billing, security, and subscription-status emails may still be sent when needed to operate your account. We may keep records of email verification, delivery, bounce, complaint, unsubscribe, pause, open, click, and article-reading activity as described in the Privacy Policy.
Institution subscriptions are annual team subscriptions with a minimum of five seats. The owner seat counts toward the purchased seat count. Each seat is purchased for the full subscription year and is not refundable once purchased for that year. An institution owner may reallocate a seat to another email address, but reallocating or releasing a seat does not reduce the current-year bill.
5. Pricing, Taxes, and VAT
Prices shown on Gorgorus are exclusive of applicable taxes, VAT, or similar governmental charges unless we expressly state otherwise. Applicable tax or VAT may be calculated and added by Stripe at payment or renewal based on the billing details supplied during checkout.
6. Refund Policy
If you are a non-institutional subscriber and are not satisfied with your subscription, you may request a refund by emailing desk@gorgorus.com with your cancellation or refund reason. Each request is reviewed manually on a case-by-case basis; we usually respond within one business day. Taxes, VAT, or similar charges are normally not refundable. Refunds are never issued automatically by the dispute workflow; when approved manually, they are issued to the original payment method and typically appear on your statement within five to ten business days.
7. Chargebacks
By subscribing to Gorgorus, you agree to contact us at desk@gorgorus.com before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your card issuer. Chargebacks filed without first attempting to resolve the matter with us will be disputed using the records we maintain — including the receipt, your IP address, user-agent string, account access logs, email verification and delivery records, and the cryptographic record of your acceptance of these Terms at the time of subscription. If a chargeback is reversed in our favor, we may suspend the affected account and require any future subscription to be paid by alternative means.
8. Intellectual Property
All content published on Gorgorus, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Bitprods SRL BV or its content creators and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.
9. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Share your account credentials or subscription access with others
- Reproduce or redistribute our content without permission
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bitprods SRL BV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service or reliance on any content published therein.
11. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify subscribers of material changes via email or through a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
